  Agents’ criteria

  I am almost ready to query and have started looking at agents. A couple of agent details have said they are looking for things which do match my novel but state they are not looking at earlier than Victorian. Mine is 1828 so Georgian but quite close.

  Anyone experienced this near miss and is it worth querying it or respecting the agent’s wishes and leaving them in peace

  I would be tempted to send it to this agent. After all it’s post regency and very nearly Victorian. Good luck with your querying
