Assignment 1 – Boring Sub-Genre for me
I suppose the book (the first in a series), I’m working on is pretty much straight-up Police Procedural, with a great deal of focus on the setting (the Scottish Borders). Think, Vera meets Midsomer Murders-ish.
It almost seems boring to not have some sort of sub-genre crossover. I am trying to infuse a little humor into it, and there are connections between what is happening in the story and the history of the setting.
Very much looking forward to viewing the remaining lessons!
